Rita Machado, born in 2004, currently studies and develops her artistic practice in Porto. She is currently enrolled in the fourth and final year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts, in the Sculpture branch, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Her artistic practice combines traditional sculptural techniques with conceptual investigations around the relationship between the body and object, in which the latter becomes a place of affective experiences.
